Outreach isn't just part of our name.  It's who we are.  We believe the good news of the Kingdom is still relevant and we strive to do what we believe.  Below are just a few of the ways we seek to touch our world.

Easter Outreach

Each Spring on the Sunday before Easter we invite the community to one of the largest egg hunts
around.  We put out tens of thousands of eggs filled with candy and coupons for special prizes for
the children.  We start the day with an illustrated Easter message, follow with a free meal and then
let the children go for the eggs!  It's always a blast.

Church in the Street

During the summer months we head out into the community on the fourth Sunday evening
of the month to take church to the community.  We set up in the parking lot of a small grocery
store and invite the community to join us for worship.  We always have a good turn out and it's
just one of the ways we strive to touch our community with the love of Christ.

Saturday Night on the Streets

Also during the summer we head out on the first and third Saturday evenings to do street evangelism.
We go door to door simply offering to pray with our neighbors right there on the spot for the needs
they have in their lives.  God always touches them with His love and many times He opens the door
for people to know Him and find salvation through Jesus Christ.

Halloween Outreach

On Halloween Lighthouse is transformed into a fun place for the children of Monroe.  Inflatibles, games, hot dogs, cotton candy, prizes and candy make this the place to be.  Children dress up in their favorite non-spooky costumes and show up to have a blast!
