Marriage Mentoring

In Titus chapter two, Paul speaks to older men and women, encouraging them to be examples and teachers of younger men and women.

Marriage Mentoring is a wonderful opportunity to take Paul’s teaching to heart, couple to couple, allowing the hindsight of one generation to become the foresight of the next generation.

Marriage Mentoring IS:

  •  Providing on-time information and answering questions
  •  Modeling a healthy married life
  •  Challenging mentorees to move to higher levels
  •  Encouraging and praying with and for mentorees
  •  Helping mentorees set goals and keeping them accountable

Marriage Mentoring IS NOT:

  •  Parenting
  •  Merely a social relationship
  •  Being “on call” for every little crisis
  •  Traditional teaching
  •  A long-term commitment
  •  Having all of the answers
